Old Toy Motorcycle
My father is helping clear out some old things from a lift. He happened upon this item. Stern faced racer with Suzuki emblazoned across the front. The mice from the mouse organ in Emily’s shop might need to roll their sleeves up on this one.
Beautiful ride-on bike on display at the Porsche museum in Hamburg. Pillion seat include so two-for-one possible! The maker is Lenaerts in Belgium and these Indian lookalikes were manufactured in the fifties. Rather than a rocking motion of typical fairground kiddie rides this had rollers that sped the wheels around. “Sehr viel spaß” as they say in Germany.
– The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles we’re a phenom in the late 80’s. Named after renaissance artists, Michelangelo , Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo, they came from the sewers of New York City to fight crime. Surfer jargon was essential too.
– excellent decoration on one of my favorite puddin’s. Braap!
– fa few choice articles seen at the Nation Motorcycle Museum. Gang jacket patch, tin toy motorcycles, kids ride, Shriner fez . Shelves were filled, corners clogged and walls covered.
– the wellies and bobble hat make the photo. As well as the faraway serious ‘tude.
– I saw this forlorn toy motorcycle near a storage facility. Missing its rear wheel and battery I hope it gave some kid plenty of fun.
– an unusual toy from the seventies popped up on the intraweb today. A repurposed 70’s Japanese model with olive drab loosely uniformed Hawkeye Piece figure is a fun toy from M*A*S*H. The lunatic existence of an army surgical unit in the Korean War.
The sailor-man needs landlubbers transportation so, as depicted with this cast iron tot, he’ll use a moto’sickle.
LEGO | someone knows their studded block assembly with this model of an early 70’s Triumph Bonneville. Plenty of tricky parts to get the engine looking somewhat realistic. Growing up LEGO was my favorite building toy.
LEGO – a couple of building brick models, one a Triumph Scrambler and the other a beefy Triumph Rocket Three. Both nicely done.

LEGO – always a favorite for learning about building and creating. Here is a motorcycle themed set I’d never seen before. A motorbike dealership set from 1984. Complete with showroom, helmet display and office, as well as a little flower bed out front.
